America should be more scared of Obama

President Obama admonished GOP leaders today telling them to stop using scare tactics.  According to www.thehill.com, in a bipartisan session today, Obama told House Republican to” stop trying to frighten the American people”   He also said that he sees a possibility of bipartisan cooperation on job creation legislation.

Reid and Pelosi said that there is broad agreement on how to create jobs.  But Republicans made it clear that they want a “spending freeze”  and a jobs plan that consists of tax cuts.  “We can’t keep spending money we don’t have,” House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said.

Hail to the GOP for their recognition that you cannot keep spending to create jobs.  There have been two stimulus bills that throw money at the economy but still the economy is poor and unemployment is at 10%.

If there is anyone that America should fear, it is the Democrats and there spending.  Also, businesses are at a standstill because they can’t forecast expenditures with Healthcare Legislation looming and tax and trade.  Both bills that would tax businesses immensely and make unemployment higher.

Therefore, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi and their problem solving is what we should all fear.  Their problem solving includes, bigger government, more spending, more taxes, and us in the poorhouses.  Now that’s scary!

Al Gore’s climate change theory and a bridge for sale

People Al Gore

Speaking from San Francisco, Al Gore said that the targets of the UN Climate Change talks in Copenhagen are not stringent enough.  Gore charges that, “We are gambling with the future of human civilization in accepting odds that by any definition make our present course reckless . . . Gore says that “Are we doing enough? The answer is obviously no — 450 is not the right target. But it is presently seen as beyond the capacity of governments around the world. We are stretching the capacity of governments even to hit a 450 target.”  Gore thinks the target should be 350.

Gore also called for international carbon taxes in order to slash fossil-fuel consumption although he warned that huge political obstacles existed to this which meant that it would be many years before such a system could be applied globally.  The former Vice President also shrugged off the CRU leaked emails.  Keep Reading

Healthcare moving forward in the Senate

According to Politico.com Health Care is moving forward in the Senate as the Senate voted to keep nearly $500 million in Medicare cuts in the bill and voted down an attempt by Senator John McCain to send the bill back to the Senate Finance Committee.  Obstacles still to be determined are abortion, the public option and finances,

Amendments moved onto the floor tonight.  one from Mikulski that would let the HHS Secretary determine mamogram coverage which would cost about 1 Billion dollars,   Another amendment was on abortion sponsored by Sen. Nelson attempting to keep Stupak language in the bill.  The amendment was pulled back after it was decided the amendment needed more work.  Keep Reading

White House jobs summit equally important as beer summit

The second summit that Obama had at White House is the jobs summit. The first was a needless beer summit between a white police officer and a black man. Maybe that was more important because at least he was trying to unite black and white. The jobs summit is just a spectacle. Part of his campaign charade as laid out by Howard Dean.

On the agenda for today’s event are CEO’s, Economists, etc. Will Obama listen to them or are they just CEO’s who are supporting him as he is doing with Cap-and-Trade?. I think we can all just call this campaigning on our tax dollars.  Keep Reading

Rob Mitchell: The right choice for Congress

mitchellforcongressRob “Read the Bill” Mitchell made national news last summer when he took on Sen. Arlen Specter las at the National Constitution Center.  Now, he is contender to run against Congressman Patrick Murphy.  Mitchell announced Tuesday that he is seeking to the Republican nominatin to run against sitting Congressman Patick Murphy in the fall.

Rob Mitchell not only wants government to be more economically sound, but wants people like Murphy to listen to constituents.  “Murphy votes are in line with what Pelosi wants more than what the people of Bucks and Montgomery County want.”  Murphy voted for the Healthcare bill and Stimulus package.  Mitchell said that the debt that Murphy and the Democrat Majority have racked up shows that  “they have they have lost touch with the people and consequently they have lost our trust.”  Keep Reading

Elitist Senator Bob Casey attends White House dinner

Sen. Robert Casey

Sen. Robert Casey

Bob Casey and his wife attended the lavish White House affair pointed out in this column yesterday.  Just shows he is an elitist and out of touch just like the other liberals in Washington.  This affair in these economic times should have never have taken place.

The funniest thing is that Robert and Mrs. Casey went to pose for a pictures, his cumberbund fell off according to Fox News.  We all know he is just a guy in a suit anyway but even the suit doesn’t want anything to do with him.  It is an insult to the people of PA to attend such an affair when his constituents are all  feeling the financial pinch back here .  Casey is just a tax and spend liberal.  He is Obama’s puppet.  Read More

Rep. Joe Wilson

Rep. Joe Wilson

Congressman Joe Wilson has become a fighter against the passage of the the current proposed Healthcare legislation.  Ever since telling the President, “You lie,” during a joint session of Congress back in September, Wilson has been working to expose the truth about the proposed legislation. Philadelphia: Transit Strike, Day Four

I do not want to take away from a wonderful counterpart, the Philadelphia Public Transportation Examiner  but anyone has the right to say about Philly this week, “What a zoo.”  A ride that should have normally taken 45 minutes to get into Center City today took an hour and twenty minutes.  Why?  SEPTA’s transit strike, day four.  Read more
